Biographical Information 

Ms Jean Luah is Lecturer at Singapore Bible College. Having been supported as a faculty in training, she joined the faculty in July 2021.

Ms Luah’s research area is in theological hermeneutics, with an emphasis on wisdom literature in the Old Testament. Her doctoral thesis, “Wise Readers and Reading Wisely: Themes, Practitioners, and Exegeses in Theological Interpretation of Scripture“ (title approved) is in the final stages of editing and final oral examination. 

Prior to embarking on her doctoral studies, Ms Luah served as a lecturer in East Asia School of Theology. Earlier, she had served as a teacher for seven years with the Ministry of Education (Singapore), teaching students who took the “O” levels, or the International Bachelor Diploma Programme.
