Singapore Bible College is looking for a committed Christian to fill the post of a Finance Manager at the Finance Office on a full-time basis.
A Description of Singapore Bible College:
Singapore Bible College (SBC) is an international community college that was set up since 1957. The college is located in one of the prime areas of Singapore (near the junction of Adam Road and Bukit Timah Road) with a nearby MRT station ready in 2010. The workforce is made up of local and overseas faculty and staff. Most overseas faculty and students stay on campus. The college provides one free meal (lunch) a day from Monday to Friday during semesters.
Responsibilities:
Generally, be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Finance Office and accountable for continuous improvement of financial accounting processes and systems, and the production of high quality management information for the management.
- Oversee and carry out all daily accounting purposes
- Provide support and advice to colleagues in all departments on financial matters as required
- Prepare information required for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare the year-end financial statements
- Must have experience in handling GST matters
- Must have knowledge of using ACCPAC system and PayDay payroll system
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
- Review and assess the work of the Cashier and provide mentoring assistance
- Attend to queries from students concerning funds received or paid, if necessary
Pre-requisites:
- Singaporean or Singapore PR
- Possess CPA qualification
- Proficient in English and Chinese languages
- Strong computer skills
- Proactive and meticulous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Mature, resourceful, and adaptable to dynamic changes with good organizationaland multi-tasking skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Able to handle confidential information
- Preference will be given to applicant who has at least 3 years of experience in related field and is able commence work immediately or within short notice
