Date: 26 Oct 2009, 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Abstract

Public theology is the way Christians and the church engage in the public square. It forms our views on public issues. Public theology is also how we engage – which issues to discuss, and other steps and actions Christians and the church take so as to be salt and light in society. Since Christians are both citizens of the nation and citizens of the Kingdom of God, we shall use the parables as a framework to guide us in doing public theology.
