Criteria/Procedures:

  1. The scholarship is for a period of one year, Jan-Dec 2009.

  2. Not open to part-time students, Americans, and Canadians.

  3. Open to full-time students who will be involved in full-time Christian ministry upon graduation.

  4. Receive partial financial support from the native church or organization. Submit a letter of recommendation from the native church or organization, which must include the following:

    • Written by an appropriate representative of the church/organization

    • Must not be written by a relative of the applicant

    • Indicate applicant’s spiritual gifts, abilities, and leadership potential of the applicant

    • Indicate the reason for recommending the applicant for the financial support

    • Indicate the amount that the church/organization has committed to supporting the applicant, and the reason for supporting this amount

    • It must be written or translated in English (if the original copy is not in English)

    • It must be written on a proper letterhead of the native church/organization.

  5. New and renewal applications are to be type-written in English only. You may download all the forms here. Applicants must submit (i) a hard copy of the application form duly signed with photo attached, and (ii) the original letter of recommendation to the Registrar’s Office not later than 31 July 2008. Do not write more than the space provided. Approval is based on satisfactory character review and academic performance.

  6. Submit (iv) contact information of three or four referees.

  7. Submit (v) the latest transcript. Applicant must maintain the following minimum GPA:

    • Diploma : 2.4

    • Bachelor : 2.6

    • Master & Graduate Diploma : 2.8

    • Master in Theology : 3.2

  8. Supervised by a Pastoral Care Group Leader.

  9. Serve in the college (not more than 3 hours per week).

  10. Write a letter of appreciation to the donor (assigned by the Registrar).

  11. Successful applicants will be notified in writing.

  12. Applications submitted after 31 July 2008 will not be accepted.
