Location

Nestled amidst the lush greenery of the verdant residential Bukit Timah district, Singapore Bible College offers a quiet environment for the pursuit of a holistic and biblically centered theological education. It is strategically located at the centre of the island of Singapore, near to the Pan-Island Expressway and major arterial roads. Its convenient location makes for easy access to all parts of the island, including the airport, major housing estates, shopping districts and downtown. Public transport will be made even more convenient when the Circle Line is fully completed in 2010. The SBC community can then avail itself of a rail transit station at the nearby scenic Botanic Gardens.

Although SBC is located in the suburbs, it has many amenities that are just a stone's throw away - food center, banks and supermarkets. In terms of recreational facilities, it has a basketball court, volleyball cum badminton court, table tennis tables and a Students' Lounge. Avid joggers can also jog in the nearby Botanic Gardens, or the MacRitchie Reservoir, which is a few bus stops away.

Facilities

Covering an area of over 120,000 sq. feet, the campus consists of six blocks, viz Blocks 1 to 5 and Block 7. All the three schools of SBC (School of Theology, Chinese; School of Theology, English and School of Church Music) are located here. The following facilities are available:

As part of the campus upgrading plan, we are in the process of redeveloping Block 5 to increase its housing capacity from the existing 18 persons to 116 persons. When fully completed in mid-2008, it will have 7 apartments and 46 twin-sharing dormitory rooms. After Block 5 is completed, we plan to redevelop Blocks 2 and 3 to further enhance our college facilities to meet the increasing needs of both students and staffs.
