SOTE MAPC - Counselling Practicum |

Counselling Practicum aims to provide the necessary opportunities for students to:
- know how and when to apply counselling principles and techniques to appropriate contexts.
- allow for internalisation of skills, contextualisation of mindsets, and conceptualisation of the individual’s “whole-being”; until it becomes part and parcel of the individual’s personhood.
- embark on the holistic ministry of people-helping, assisting those needing help not only in their psycho-socio-emotional struggles, but also on their journeys to spiritual wholeness.
MAPC Students are expected to complete a minimum of 120 hours of supervised counselling during their practicum. This should be made up of individual, couple or family counselling.
